-- katie spore got a message tuesday -- after the team at borsheims learned about what today-- as the staff did what they could - to restore katie spore's faith in the kindness of others. ( nats: shoes clicking ) spore has seen some of the
worst ... and some of the best in others.( nats: car leaving ) the worst... monday night... spore says she was leaving work - near police a man shoved her against a wall... taking the restaurant's deposit -- along with her wallet,
necklace and wedding ring.( to help her feel better, to be part of that, that's really why we're here. ) the team at borsheims heard what happened... and decided to give her - a ã¡new one.( nats: spore describes her original ring... unique -- and
picked with so much thought... ( nats: we did some searching today to see what we could find. )( nats: oh, it's pretty ) it's not the original - but staff wanted that same spirit.( we wanted to find items that gave a nod to it, and a rememberance to it. )
for katie spore - and her almost overhwelming.( i couldn't believe it was real. after everything i'd been through, for someone to care and show that there are good people out there, it was surreal. ) with it sized on site...( nats: it's so
pretty. ) the spores leave borsheims with katie's new ring... but also - an even larger gift... gratitude for kindness -- seeing the best -- in others. still no word on suspects in that robbery. borsheims says this is actually part of
a week of giving for them... they're hosting special sales through the week -- with some proceeds benefitting girls inc. a giving tradition they host every year. back to you.
